At the time I was treaing my acne with prescription medicaiton as well as standard drug store creams. I began using this product along with the Bioglycolic clenaser. While every face is different, I can say this has worked better than any thing else I have tried. I was very surprised at its success. Today acne is rare for me. I use this exact product a couple times a week in the shower. I leave it on for about 4 minutes before washing it off. The Bioglycolic product gets used every night. I do also have the spot treament cream that comes in a squatty glass jar. I use this to head off any acne attempting to break through. One note, yes...this is strong stuff. It DOES tingle/burn a little bit upon application. I do have sensitive skin so I was wary about this. But I have not suffered any negative reaction or damage.
