Sarah Hyland (MODERN FAMILY) and Matt Prokop (HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 3: SENIOR YEAR) team up in this comedy about makeovers that really matter. After "it" girl Dylan (Hyland) accidentally drops her expensive handbag into the mall fountain, she's surprised when film geek Josh (Prokop) retrieves it for her. After Josh rescues her bag, Dylan jumps at the chance to be the subject of his new documentary. Dylan hopes the film will clinch her campaign for Blossom Queen -- she claims that winning is her only life goal! Josh, meanwhile, plans to make a hard-hitting expose about popularity; but as he gets to know Dylan, he discovers that her real persona is more interesting than the faux facade she has created. At the last minute, Josh decides his film should introduce this awesome girl to the world, but how will Dylan react when she sees it? Also featuring 10 episodes of the hit series SHAKE IT UP for over 5 hours of content!

I think Geek Charming is a very cute movie. I really love the storyline a lot. It's a good story about looking beyond what you see above the surface. Sarah Hyland is a great actress and her personality as Dylan is very charming. No pun intended. I loved this movie so much that I just had to own it on DVD and I also really love Shake it Up so I actually applaud the bonus of 10 episodes. I think the price is very great considering these bonus episodes. In a way, it is like we get 10 episodes for free.If you are someone who really loves Geek Charming and is also a fan of Shake it Up, this DVD is definitely a worthy buy!

Fun to watch.
Just plain fun to watch. Young people are fun to watch I think because they take growing up so seriously. It going to happen no matter what, enjoy it while you can. Everything changes once you get old enough to have to take care of yourself.

THE TRUE MEANING OF FRIENDSHIP
GEEK CHARMING is a great teen movie! The usual characters and scenarios like mean girls,the makeover, and mindless jocks get surprising twists as popularity and typical teen cliques get satirized and skewered at every turn. Unlike in many recent Disney films, the parents actually act their age and have meaningful, tender relationships with their children. Most important of all, the geek and the diva both grow as people as they learn the true meaning of friendship and the importance of following their hearts--not the pressure of their peers.
