Nutscene of Scotland, makers of fine twine since 1922, are now supplying hanks of natural raffia. Nutscene Raffia is great for the garden, gift-wrapping or crafting. Harvested from renewable sources in Madagascar, our raffia is made from the dried and shredded leaves of the palmyra palm tree. Please note that because it is a natural fiber there may be the occasional variance in color between hanks and also compared to the images shown. Loved by gardeners, florists, crafters and the like. Raffia makes a kind and gentle tie for supporting soft or succulent stems
