I am adding the following information because I always wish that people would include sizing information on utility gloves. I was concerned about the size, as most of these uni-size gloves are made for men. But, this glove--although a little larger than my hand—is the best fit in a cut resistant glove that I have found. I wear a size 7.5 woman's leather glove, and purchased the sm/md because they didn't offer a small. The width of the glove when laid flat, at approximately 4" wide just below the fingers (not including the thumb), results in a fit that is approximately 3/8 inch wider than my hand—which is 7 3/8 inches in circumference (not including the thumb)--when wearing. The fingers range from 2 to 2 1/2 inches in length when flat, and up to approximately 1 1/4 inches wide. The thumb being 2 1/8 inches in length when flat, and 1 3/8 inches wide. They stretch. And, for those with large palms, I note that the glove is gathered at the wrist when flat, which you can barely make out in the picture. I paid full price. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ SINGLE-HANDEDLY *by .***Y on Reviewed in the United States on April 10, 2016* I got these gloves on the same day as I got my new hand guard for my old mandoline. Thanks, Amazon Prime! With only one working hand, I place a very high value on that hand & can't afford to have it out of commission - even for a short period of time). Good timing. I wanted to try out the new hand guard, but wasn't sure if it would work well. So, the gloves were great to have on hand (so to speak). The gloves are very comfortable. (I thought they might be scratchy or hot, but they aren't). I got the Small/Medium and they fit very well. Dexterity with them on is much better than I expected (I could pick up a dime off a tile floor). They fit well on either hand. I grated carrots first & the finger tips of the glove turned orange. I put some dish soap on the fingertips & rubbed them together - and, voila! good as new. With the tight weave of the gloves and no heat in the dryer, it took nearly 2 hours for them to dry. Maybe the tight weave of the fabric is part of the protection. No biggie. I'm not going to do the "let's-try-to-slice-it-with-a-knife" test. Difficult at best with one hand. The only caution I have with these gloves is that they have kind of a smooth surface, which means a tighter grip may be desired when handling smooth glass - like a bottle or jar. I'm guessing the smooth surface might be part of the cut-resistance. Just something to be aware of. If I had one suggestion though, it would be to put some of those grippy things on the fingertips (I'm sure "grippy" is a technical term - hah!).
