As you can see the band does not visually wear well even through it remains very functional. On the plus side it is a comfortable fit and when it was new I received many compliments. More than I did with my original black Tag band.That said this replica is 1/10 the price of a factory Tag band. My original band lasted >10 years.An actual Tag band does not have contrasting white stitching. It has brown to match the band. The contrasting stitching looks great for about 6-9 months.Bottom line: if you're on a budget or want to change bands every year then buy this band but if you want the real deal this isn't it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent replacement strap *by J***R on January 24, 2013* Just received my replacement strap. FYI: It's shipped from England, and so requires a signature for delivery. It looks and feels just like the original band - great quality. Replacing the old band is a bit of trial, error, and Web searching, but I was successful first go. It feels a bit stiff right off, but it's leather, so I expect that it will soften up nicely. Plus, the price is about 1/6 the cost of an "original".Also, I used a thin hobby knife to remove the spring bar. Probably NOT recommended, but it worked.A few words of advice: take a few pictures of your watch BEFORE you remove the old strap - this will give you a frame of reference for how the new one should be situated. (Did I learn this the hard way? You bet I did! Thankful for Google images...)Also, my watch has the "deployment clasp", not the traditional pin-in-the-hole band. Take a picture of this configuration as well, because installing this gadget onto the new band is somewhat counterintuitive.To sum up: very pleased with the product, the value, and the delivery.
