That's the reason it is risky too a degree too buy a used vehicle... That would not necessarily show up on a carfax. I like this filter though. I looked at my old one pretty close after my last oil change and it definitely traps the dirt. I tried to tear it apart and that was not an easy task. I change my synthetic oil in my 2014 Camry every 5000 miles. The reason I use quality filter like this one is when I'm driving my car up the grapevine on a 100dg day I don't want to have to wonder how things are holding up. **Q: does it fit 2014 toyota sienna 3.5L ltd?** A: It should I have the same engine in my 2011 Sienna XLE.
