It feels sturdy. The clips are just small enough that they do not create excessive friction and hurt or scratch the finish on the head or the J-hooks themselves. Portions of the clips also are made of hard plastic and so do not cause scratching. I just took it out of the bag and attached it to the banjo and was up and running in less than a minute. The strap adjusts easily for just the right comfortable fit.Let's see how long it lasts, but out of the box and getting several hours of use per day over the past few days, it has been working just fine. All parts of the strap appear well made. And the strap is nice looking.
