I had knee surgery eight weeks ago and this is the perfect table to accomplish physical therapy exercises correctly at home. It’s low to the ground and very stable. It’s also wider than most tables, so the frequent switching sides for exercises such as straight leg lifts is easier. The set up was very easy and you can change the height a few inches up or down if you like. The only small con is that the surface is a bit hard, but there are several pads that can be purchased to make it more comfortable. This is a great purchase that will be used for many years to come. This one is probably wider than others, which is certainly a preference of mine. I don't have to have myself on it just perfect or be mindful of shifting over as I might have to on a narrower model. My arms can rest to my sides. There's not much more to say about it really. It is exactly what I hoped for. I don't think it could store any more easily, but with a busy schedule any extra steps are almost too much. I have spondylolithesis. The exercises I do are rather simple, and even as I gain strength and do more reps I only need 10 to 15 minutes a day to keep it up. Having this table so I don't have to roll out a mat and get up and down from the floor really makes it so convenient that I not only have no excuse to not do them, I don't care to make any. With the table set up it's a great way to wake up actually because I have an excuse to lie back down for a little bit and feel good about it. If you have back pain there are probably exercises you have been recommended or should be doing. The only "assembly" was adding the two side metal bars that add stability to the table by using simply screw knobs. It is low and wide, just like I want. It is very steady and feels secure. I added a 2" foam topper because the padded table-top was too hard for me. Very happy with this table. Great price and value. Comfortable enough with this set-up that it could be a guest bed.
