Review: Substantial Improvement - This product is a substantial improvement over standard white silicone thread tape. Much thicker and formulated to work on stainless steel threads. While pricey if you want a drip free junction the first time this product is ideal. I used standard white silicone tape on 1" stainless steel to 1" brass fittings. Drips could not be stopped. After ordering and installing the High Density tape. Problem solved.
Review: Worth the extra cost - Used on auto engine oil pan plug to stop it from leaking. Worked great

This product is a substantial improvement over standard white silicone thread tape. Much thicker and formulated to work on stainless steel threads. While pricey if you want a drip free junction the first time this product is ideal. I used standard white silicone tape on 1" stainless steel to 1" brass fittings. Drips could not be stopped.
