I want to wrap it around posts with very little surface area (t-posts)** A: It does have an adhesive backing that you expose by pulling away a plastic layer (think the same way you expose the sticky parts of a band-aid). Wrapping a T-post should be doable but may prove tricky because of the irregular (not smooth) shape which offers less surface area for the tape to stick to.
