I just ordered this product, and while the settings for the alarm and the time will be retained during a power outage with batteries installed, the ALARM WILL NOT GO OFF (either alarm or radio) unless there is AC power. So if the power is out when your alarm is supposed to go off, NOTHING WILL HAPPEN. I find this to be a ridiculous design and do not recommend it for anyone to use. **Q: Does it auto adjust for daylight savings time changes** A: No, It is not auto-adjust for daylight. **Q: How long can this product be used?** A: As long as you want. It's a basic plug-in alarm clock. **Q: Is this product good to use?** A: I have two of them at home. I bought one in November/December of 2020 and a second one about a year later. Both are still working fine. They are just a basic clock radio with alarm. They are good for setting and alarm and listening to the radio. Don't expect super sound quality at this price level.
