Review: WOW! Non-stick!?? I guess!! Super non-stick is more like it! - Got the pan today, followed the instructions before first use. Used the square thingys with the dots to connect to their site for more info'. Educated I decided to cook Chicken thighs via the Jacques Pepin method. Cut on each side of the bone (not through) and on medium ish heat cook for 20ish minutes for a full pan. Previous pans always had them sticking. I'd need to use a spatula to scrape them off of the pan. The teflon pan the Hexclad replaced was also beginning to stick. 20+ years ago that pan cost us $140 and I tried to use it as little as possible to give it along life. I knew teflon pans were quite fragile because teflon is soft. Back to the Hexclad... The first pan of thighs was cooking so I got out a metal spatula. As per my other pans I went to looosen up the thighs from the Hexclad 1/2 way into the cook. I grabbed the handle so that I could pry the first one loose. I touched the first one and it slid, absolutely no sticking. None of the thighs were sticking. How much oil did I use on the pan before putting the thighs in it? Absolutely none. I just put them in as per Jacque, skin side down and no added oil, butter, fat, anything. I'm thinking WOW! I got out tongs. When the thighs were done the tongs were all that was required. I did 2 more batches 'cause I don't like to cook everyday and we eat leftovers. How much sticking? Absolutely none. I never used the spatula again. When the thighs were done I let the pan cool and grabbed a piece of paper towel to check and see what actually stuck. NOTHING! I was wiping the pan clean with a dry paper towel. If I wanted to clean it completely that way I could have very easily. But we were going to do dishes anyway. After washing it I went to dry it and not even water wanted to stick to it. This pan is absolutely amazing. It's even better than my black steel pan and that was my previous best pan. I'll be getting another 8" Hexclad and I'll retire the black steel pan. Yet another day with the pan. I did eggs over easy today. The pan was a little big but I'm giving Hexclad a decent shakedown before getting an "everyday" 8". First pre-cooked sausage patties. Stick? Absolutely not, but that's not a real test for this pan after the chicken. Then came the eggs. The instructions say to use some sort of fat for items that traditionally want to stick and specifically mentioned eggs. I left the small amount of sausage fat in the pan. Then in went the eggs. Yes, I could see where eggs might be thought of to "stick", but not in the traditional sense. There were spots where the albumin slippped over the pan and a thin amount of it was left behind on the pan. But sticking? No. I called the wife over and no spatula required, I jiggled the pan and the eggs slid around. Today I wanted to try a different cleanup. Since I had so little fat in the pan I grabbed a half sheet of paper towel and soaked up the fat, then brought the pan over to the sink so that the sink could catch what little solids there were, finished wiping the pan. Clean and done. Just amazing. An 8" Hexclad "everyday" pan is definitely in my future. Tip: When you use the squares with dots to go to the HexClad website, there is an offer for $75 off your next item. DO NOT do what I did. I didn't complete the form, I figured I'd come back. There is no coming back. Fill it out completely. I'll need to pay full price for my 8" pan. ********* So time has passed and we've used it for awhile. Short story... It's absolutely amazing! I've sort of retired my 8" black steel pan to use the HexClad for everything to fully test it. Yes, amazing. Most times it cleans with just a wipe and a 1/2 sheet paper towel. I have deliberately gotten burgers to exude juices and burn that onto the pan. That required plain water and a 1/2 sheet and came clean with very little elbow grease. This pan is amazing. I'm going to order an everyday 8" and retire the black steel permanently. It really is amazing. There is nothing to think about. Just do it. You'll thank me. Oh, not even water wants to stick to it!
Review: Truly nonstick - Best pan I ever owned, using it daily, it is a REAL nonstick pan! Buying 2nd one for my son.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Truly nonstick
*by F***H on August 9, 2026*

Best pan I ever owned, using it daily, it is a REAL nonstick pan! Buying 2nd one for my son.

### ⭐ Expensive Pan Sticks and Warranty is WORTHLESS - Customer Service is a Joke - BUYER BEWARE!
*by D***N on April 27, 2025*

I bought this pan with high hopes based on its many good reviews, and figured for $100, it should be pretty good. Well, fast-forward five months. I have been using the pan and find that as often as I season it (which involves heating the pan with avocado oil), cleaning it with soft pads, and running it through the dishwasher, MOST THINGS STICK. It does OK with scrambled eggs, but fried eggs (at a low temperature) just leave me with "gunk" that is really hard to remove. I've attached a video. I contacted the company via their very attractive website. I started by filling out a form, which never seemed to be transmitted. It just came back with "submitting." I then went back to the website and saw you could contact them via email. In my first email, I described my problems, attached some videos, and included my Amazon receipt. They quickly replied with an email about how sorry they were that I was having problems, but they said I needed to go to the seller to get a refund (I did not want a replacement). I got back to them, pointing out Amazon has a 30-day refund/replacement policy, and they - the manufacturer - should make good on the warranty. I went back and forth with them several times (all with their ending emails expressing how important my satisfaction was) and then just gave up. They were not at all helpful. THEIR WARRANTY IS USELESS—THEY DON'T WORK TO MAKE GOOD ON IT. I sent them several videos (one seen here) that clearly show the problem, and they eventually said they need clear photos in good light, etc., etc., so that their staff could review my situation with possible solutions. It's just a run-around! A decent company would value its reputation and try to make the customer happy—NOT THIS ONE!! I feel like I wasted $100 on a pan. I EXPECTED BETTER!! Really a disappointing experience. Maybe their pans are good (they should be for the price!), but they really have crummy customer service. Lesson I learned is that companies are like restaurants where good food can be ruined by bad service. This is one of the worst experiences I've ever had with customer service - I would have been happy with my money back or at least an offer of a replacement out of the gate rather than an endless set of scripted (and unhelpful) emails. They botched this big time! BUYER BEWARE. If your pan is not good, return it quickly - otherwise, you may be stuck with it. PLEASE SEE OTHER REVIEWS THAT INDICATE THESE PANS LOSE THEIR NON-STICK FEATURE QUICKLY. There are good pans out that cost much less and really are non-stick. AVOID THIS BRAND!!
