I knew I wanted to start with scraps and a small amount at that. I went with the two pound option and I was pleasantly surprised. Every piece I received was a decent size, ranging from 12"x12" odd cut pieces, to a piece that was about 18" long and four inches wide. Also included were three pieces of snakeskin. There was a variety of color as well from white, to a more cream, to black, to a dark brown. Overall I was very pleased with the contents of the package and I plan on making more orders in the future. Received a bit more than 5 lbs of scraps, of about 7 different colors and various sizes. I've never worked with leather before, and the quality of the material was easier to manipulate than I had hoped. I used scissors and an xacto blade to trim the leather for my purposes.I created a piece of wall art using the leather scraps adhered with an appropriate leather glue. Most of the pieces are tan, brown and black as well as some unusual looking pieces. Very nice quality IMO and I am very pleased- snake skin pieces are on the smaller side but nice and included in pictures. I am new at working with leather and looking forward to making some fashionable earrings, bracelets, small purses and pouches -and I think I definitely have received enough here to do just that and maybe a bit more?!
