Is the material similar?** A: I have both and like both. The sponge material is similar, although perhaps the tsukineko dauber foam is a bit finer. The blending tool sponges seem a bit more durable -- I have on occasion used the daubers until the sponge began to break up. Both are great for stencils and small ink jobs. **Q: how do you wash off alcohol inks from pads for a long use/reuse life?** A: These tools aren't meant to be washed. It works best if you use a pad for each color you use. A 20 pack of replacement pads are only about $5 so it really cheap, but there are some really good liquid stamp cleaners that may do the job, they do great on stamps, but I haven't tried it yet. **Q: How are these compared with the martha stewart 32243 foam pouncers, set of 6 (currently an add-on item for $4.03)?** A: I think these work better than the martha stewart ones .
