I bought this about a year ago to deal with a problem I run into every spring and fall. Around here, it feels like Mother Nature is always trying to reclaim my property, so I’m constantly clearing brush and undergrowth. That usually means I end up coming into contact with poison ivy, sumac, or something similar, and the itching that follows can be miserable. I’ve tried several, if not most, over-the-counter remedies over the years (see photo), and none of them really did much for me. This is the first product I’ve found that actually provides noticeable relief. I understand everyone reacts differently, but for me this has been the only thing that consistently works. I’ve used it multiple times now, and it’s earned a permanent spot in the cabinet. Last time I ran out, my wife reordered it before I even had to think about it. Pros: Actually relieves itching (in my experience) Works better than other OTC options I’ve tried Reliable enough to keep on hand Cons: None in my experience Bottom line: If you deal with poison ivy or similar issues, this is worth trying. It’s the only thing that’s worked for me, and I will keep buying it.

I originally bought the Ivarest Anti-Itch Cream for mosquito bites after reading that it works on all kinds of itch and irritation — and let me tell you, it does not disappoint. I tend to react badly to mosquito bites, especially during the summer or when I travel to tropical places. The itching gets intense, and most over-the-counter creams barely take the edge off. Ivarest, on the other hand, worked almost instantly. It gave a cooling, soothing sensation and stopped the itching fast. It also helped reduce the swelling and redness after just a couple of uses. The cream is thick and medicated, so it stays in place and doesn’t rub off right away. It does have a slightly pink tint (which I didn’t mind), and the scent is a bit medicinal — but for the relief it gives, I’ll take it any day.

Works really fast! Instant relief! Has a great storage life and is easy to apply. Excellent for poison ivy and oak as well as some bug bites. Helps to neutralize and bring down skin inflammation. Very helpful, it should be in everyone's medicine cabinet. Would recommend!

This was a lifesaver! I had poison ivy on my arms, leg and chin, and the itching was becoming unbearable. I got the cream within hours of ordering, and from the moment I applied the cream, the itching stopped! I got relief for about 5 hours, and when I reapplied, the itch went away immediately. It took about two weeks for the poison ivy to go away, and fortunately one tube lasted the entire time. You do not need to apply a thick coat, but you definitely want to have color from the cream on your arms. Let it dry, before you put clothing over it, as well. Highly recommend!

Bought based on reviews. I would save this is like old fashioned calamine lotion. It does relief the itching temporarily. Definitely not the 8 hours as advertised on the package. I don't feel like it dries out the poison ivy like I would say other products I've used. Thought I'd give it a chance since it was a lotion instead of a spray. I get poison ivy multiple times a year.
