I did not like the twine that was braided around it. Mine also had a knot about 3" above the crystal - it wouldn't budge. I couldn't see how it would be adjustable. I still tied the very ends around my neck. It kept bugging me.I took a bath and the rope seemed to stay wet. I hated the way it felt on my skin so within 24 hours of getting this, I took some scissors and cut it off. I remembered I had some bendable silver wire and a chain I hadn't been using. Within 2 minutes I had that wrapped around the crystal and on the chain. It looks absolutely fabulous and stunning now and I love it. I also believe this is a protective crystal from negative energy.
