I loved the fit. Very comfortable and didn't have to stretch the fabric. It has a zipper, but I was able to slip it right over my head. The length and style are modest yet still very stylish. To me, the ruffles at the sleeves and chest and the overall cut give it a classy 1940's vibe. The length falls just below my knees which shows some skin but not too much. The style is an A line cut which is fitted in the waist and then flares out through the bottom. The flare helps camouflage the lower stomach area but still accentuates the waist. It has a crew cut neck and small ruffles at the arm. Again, showing just the right amount of skin to still stay modest.The overall sizing does run a little large. The medium was large in the bust and waist on me but it was still wearable and looked good. However the size small would have fit me perfectly. For reference I am 5'5" 118lbs measurements 34-25-38. I was also surprised at the quality of the fabric, it's got a good thickness to it and I would imagine even in lighter colors it would not be see through. And it's got pockets too! This is a really stylish, well made dress that looks especially flattering on people with curves. And on people who don't have alot of curves, the flared a-line cut helps give the appearance of a more hour glass shaped figure.
