The construction is sturdy. The brick has nice rounded edges vs some other charges I’ve tried that are sharp and cheap looking. The brick has the same food out wings as the original charger. They also include a nice Velcro strap to help manage the cord when not in use. The brick plugs directly into the wall - it does not include the power cord extension that comes with the original charger. The MagSafe connector has the Amber and green LED indicators for charging and fully charged status. When charging, the brick reaches an indicated 116 degrees F, which is warm but not at all hot.
