It will stretch a fair amount to conform to the shape of what ever is under it. The hooks can be repositioned if needed, ie. if you want to double the net over to cover a smaller area. It took a little patience initially to unfold it, getting all the hooks unsnarrled and get it laid out on my flat truck bed, but now that its there I have no problem with it. **Q: will a golf ball go through the holes in the net?** A: Yes I have already threw the net in the garbage . It is beginning to rip, but that is what I had expected since my horse is chewing through it all day. I just replace it with the same thing. It is the perfect size to fit my big aluminum trough.
