A project I didn't want to get into in. A tree crushed the cab in a storm, body shop is installing a new cab, let them do it. They are no strangers to the request either. They don't do electrical, they leave you with lead lines. The first light works, the other 4 don't. Until I drop the interior and get into the wiring I can't tell you if the body shop failed to connect the wires or the wires have failed connections.I knew better and do automotive custom lights and wiring. I should have tested them before I handed them to the shop to install. Standard idiot plug wiring, while possible, I am doubtful the installers messed up.A note to the Amazon overlords and PC police, idiot plug is an actual, common term in direct current wiring. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Terrible bulb sockets *by J***N on Reviewed in the United States on August 12, 2018* Everything seemed great until it came to the bulb sockets. They're essentially rubber. So as you try to put the bulb in, it squishes into the housing. So now you have to drop your headliner to put the socket back. Just an epically poor design. Otherwise it's a great kit. But this is a big deal, as whenever you need to change one of the bulbs you may have to drop the headliner to do it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ cab lights *by J***H on Reviewed in the United States on May 28, 2014* I installed these on my 2000 f350 in about 5 hrs including the time it took to take my headliner down and run the wires for them.They come with gaskets but I added some clear RTV as cheap insurance since the bottoms of these are flat and the cab is a little bit rounded.They seem a little breakable so take it easy on the screw tightness.
