Review: HUGE and sturdy! - I got the 12 inch diameter model... and before you order this, I would suggest measuring your pots to make sure you need something this big because it is huge! So big that I have to hand wash it because it's too tall to fit in my dishwasher, which is no big deal, but I thought you should know. That being said, it is built very well and I have no doubt that it will last me for many many years. Recommended. ## Features - Durable Construction: Made from 18/8 stainless steel for long-lasting durability and resistance to corrosion in professional kitchen environments - Efficient Straining Design: Perforations allow liquid to pass through while retaining pulps, making it suitable for straining sauces, purees, and gravies - Coarse Mesh Filter: Features coarse stainless steel mesh that effectively separates solids from liquids in thick mixtures and preparations - Commercial Grade Quality: Designed for high-volume use in commercial kitchens, restaurants, and foodservice establishments - Multiple Size Options: Available in various diameters including 7-inch, 8-inch, 9-inch, 10-inch, and 12-inch to accommodate different kitchen needs - Conical Shape Design: The conical shape prevents spillage and allows maximum functionality when straining large quantities of food - Comfortable Handling: Hollow handle provides optimal control and comfortable grip, with L-shaped hook for versatile hanging on various containers ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B009LLIKBA | | Best Sellers Rank | #63,302 in Kitchen & Dining ( See Top 100 in Kitchen & Dining ) #281 in Food Strainers | | Brand | New Star Foodservice | | Brand Name | New Star Foodservice | | Color | Coarse Mesh | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 out of 5 stars 141 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00639713034158 | | Included Components | Stainless Steel | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 17"L x 7"W x 7"H | | Item Highlight | 18/8 Stainless Steel, Coarse Mesh, Commercial-Grade | | Item Type Name | Cap Strainer | | Manufacturer | New Star Foodservice | | Manufacturer Part Number | 34158 | | Material | Stainless Steel | | Material Type | Stainless Steel | | Model Number | 34158 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Product Dimensions | 17"L x 7"W x 7"H | | Style | Stainless Steel Mesh | | Style Name | Stainless Steel Mesh | | UPC | 840291537560 639713034158 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** New Star Foodservice - **Color:** Coarse Mesh - **Material:** Stainless Steel - **Product Dimensions:** 17"L x 7"W x 7"H - **Style:** Stainless Steel Mesh ## Images ![34158 Stainless Steel China Cap Strainer, 12-Inch - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81hzdenGSTL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This was a great by for the business *by N***H on February 23, 2026* This product is very durable it is very big.
