What’s the difference between the Touchy Skin Salve and Calendula Salve?
Touchy Skin Salve was Ora's first product made for her daughter's eczema in 2010. It is infused with 7 herbs and contains coconut oil. Calendula Salve is coconut-free with just 2 herbs for those with extra reacative skin and/or sensitivities.
How should I apply Touchy Skin Salve and when?
First, we recommend spot testing with any new product. Apply Touchy Skin Salve immediately after shower while skin is still warm and as needed throughout the day. Many also benefit from alternating textures with Ora's body butter or body oil.
Can I use Touchy Skin Salve on my face or around my eyes?
Although many of you do find Touchy helpful on the face and eyelids, and we love that for you, we don’t recommend it for daily use. Instead we made a few face oil serum collection for you. Need guidance? We’re here to help!
Why isn’t Touchy Skin Salve a drawing salve?
Touchy Skin Salve isn’t a drawing salve because of the comfrey infused into its base oil. Traditionally, comfrey is used to help bones heal and wounds close faster. An amazing herb with amazing uses, but not so great when you have a splinter.
Is this product safe for babies?
Yes, as we recommend sticking with fragrance free products for your baby’s sensitive skin! Products like our Touchy Skin Salve, Calendula Salve, Baby Salve, Baby Oil, and our EWG-verified Newborn Salve are all great options! Make sure to spot test.
