I have a 2015 Jeep Wrangler, only thing I did different was instead of attaching the straps to the bumper I adjusted the bike rack to fit just to the spare tire in order to be able open the back. **Q: Does it fit on 2016 jeep wrangler** A: It fits on the stock spare tire and at least up to a 33". I haven't tried it on a 35". **Q: Can this be used on toyota fj cruiser?** A: Bought this for my FJ cruiser. It fit and seemed to be securely on it. But the whole thing popped off the car while on the road, even with an additional lock on it. (It also covers the reverse sensor so the FJ alarm will trigger whenever backing up.) If you end up buying this, look at the flimsy clips that are suppose to hold onto the bottom of the back door.
