Beautiful damascus pattern, nice straight blade, no signs of any cracks/inclusions etc. The file and grind work are both excellent. The knife came shaving sharp. As long as the blade hardness is good, this is an awesome knife. Sheath is ok/stiff, it needs a good oiling. It fits snugly to your side and doesn't flop around as you move/walk.I ordered this one to give as a gift. I have about 15-20 hunters and folders so it takes quite a bit to impress me, this does. It is ready to display or take to the field out of the box.
