You have to unlock the 3 large white plastic screws and then remove every screw (keep track of each one as well as the placement as the screws are not the same size). Once you do, pull hose from the head and twist like a screw to remove. Once you do all this and put it back together, IT IS WELL WORTH IT!! Replacing the shorter torn hose with a new DRAMATICALLY IMPROVES the performance to new performance. If your hose is torn, replace it!
