My GF reviewed my big toe to see if I had a toe problem but in her view my big toe is harmless and should not be tearing socks. Further, none of my other socks have suffered big toe tears. Just this brand. So I will caution buyers to look out for easily tearing socks.1 pair ripped on the first wear. The others seem to be fine. These are tall socks and go nearly up to my knees. I am 5ft8 with a size 9 foot.
