Review: Nemco Food warmer - Very nice unit, smaller or tighter clearances than the Winco model, but works well no issues. The unit fits a standard full size steam pan but does not fit a shaffer water fill pan. That pan is larger in size. The Winco unit doesn't have any issues fitting either. The Nemco only has tolerances to fit your ordinary full size steam pan. Confusing I know but just an observation; not a deal breaker. But only 4" or 2-1/2" deep pans. You can't use 6" deep pans when the well is only 6-3/8" deep. The manufacture calls for 1-2" of water at all times.

A: It is not suggested. The steam that the water creates is what heats the food.  It is not suggested to place food product directly into the food warmer.

A: It can hold (3) 1/3rd pans, or (2) 1/2 pans, or (1) full pan up to 4" deep.

Good quality. We've used Winco in the past and been loyal to them, but they weren't available and these has good reviews so have them a try. Very pleased. In fact have to be careful because they get to hot at times.
