Tried all sorts of remedy but they only made my skin worse. Exfoliate then layers upon layers of cream. My poor skin was screaming STOP. Then I went to South Korea. The skincare mother land. I went home with an extra luggage full of wonderful products. I got hooked. The 7-10 steps are so easy and doesn't take a lot of time. The most essential step for me is the Whamisa Organic Deep Rich Toner. WOW. This is a miracle worker. A product that seeps into your skin, nourishing it and balancing it. If you have skin that's nourished, hydrated and balanced you don't need all that other products to fight off flare ups and acne. I'm over 50 yrs old and my skin just glows and look moist all day long. Note, Moist not greasy or oily THAT is the big Korean skin care secret. If you have skin that looks good, make up is minimized. I love how people tell me your skin (not makeup) looks so moist and dewy. I credit these 2 products, the toner I layer 3 or 4 times depending how thirsty my skin is. Then to keep it locked in, I pat on the Lotion (moisturizer in Korean). I guarantee when you wake up you'll have to do a double take in the mirror. You can't stop touching your face. What I find most interesting is I know I am doing it right because my skin feels cool to the touch. That's my barometer if I'm hydrated. During the day, due to A/C or Heater I keep my Whamisa Facial Mist near by and a quick mist is all it takes to cool my skin again. Give these products a try. I was pleasantly surprised though! I've had it for about a week now and have used the toner every night and the lotion every other. In terms of consistency, the toner is almost like a very light serum, and the lotion isn't heavy, either. Both absorb pretty quickly and I don't feel any lingering residue when I use them.Since incorporating these into my routine, my face has felt consistently soft and hydrated, and I can see a noticeable difference right away. The toner in particular seems to leave a nice, "glowy" look without appearing oily or greasy.One thing I would note though is that if you are sensitive to smells, this may bother you a bit. It dissipates quickly, but both products have a strong, earthy scent.The sample products I got along with the set are also pretty good, but unfortunately I haven't used them enough to give a decent review. From what I've tried, the gel cleanser and cream cleanser are gentle and don't strip your skin while washing. This set is a great value. There was also a selection of samples from the Whamisa product range, and the seller even included one of the fermented hydrogel masks, which is a fantastic bonus! I got the Deep Rich toner/Double Rich lotion set. If it looks like they are sold out of that option, I encourage you to contact the seller, CrediThink, which is what I had done and received a prompt response to let me know when they expected to have more stock available. I also saw that they are the sole authorized distributor on Amazon for Whamisa products, so it was nice to feel reassured that I would be getting fresh quality and authentic products. As far as those products go, Whamisa is a bit more pricy than some of the other K-beauty brands, but I've been noticing that products with specific focus on fermented essences have been jumping to the top of my favorites. Whenever I have used the Whamisa fermented hydrogel sheet masks, those essences blew me away - it didn't take long to realize that I wanted to have a stand alone essence or moisturizer to use without having to do a sheet mask. Both products are fairly heavily scented, so if you prefer lighter, or no fragrance to your skincare products, you may want to try a sample of these before buying. The scent dissipates after a little while, and to me it's not at all obnoxious, but a clean, distinctly floral aroma. The toner has a bit of 'heft' to the density - it's still liquid but it's not thin and watery. It absorbs well into the skin, and stays moist on the surface for a few minutes. The lotion is wonderful! It dispenses from a pump applicator, and you can easily control the amount you need to apply. The lotion is thick - almost on the verge of being a cream, but it also absorbs wonderfully into the skin. I use these products at night, and once they are absorbed, there is no greasy or sticky feeling on my skin. I would probably use it during the day when the air is dry and my skin feels like it needs an extra boost, but my nighttime routine tends to address my moisture replenishment well enough.
