Great food! *by K***. on December 22, 2025* Well, i was hesitant to try a fish protein, but my little girl was allergic to other proteins and i wanted to get her off the hills science diet hydrolyzed food. I decided to try this brand because it was one of the few fish based foods that i could find that had absolutely NO MEAT (beef or chicken) of any kind in any form (You must read ALL the ingredients.) Only salmon or fish. I was afraid it would smell horrible. It did not. It actually smelled fresh, like the sea. Gwyn liked it too. And she did not smell fishy after eating. She is small, a 9.6 pound Chorkie. So she only eats about a heaping 1/4 cup twice a day. No bad breath or body odor. I was very pleased because salmon is recommended as a great protein source for dogs with allergy problems. So far, she has transitioned to eating this food without any problems, no itching.
