Landlord won't repair screens and also forbid using tape. Bugs are getting in!** A: I’m sure goo be gone would get any remaining glue off. **Q: Is there a version for long, 10”-15” tears in tent netting?** A: yes it comes on rolls of 3 feet by 2 - 1/2 wide **Q: Is this waterproof? Will it stay on after rain?** A: These will stay on after rain as long as you put the patch on when the tent was clean and dry. These patches aren't awesome though. I'm more concerned they'll come off from exposure to heat. The other thing is that they are really quite big and you cannot cut them to fit the area that needs repair. The round shape saves you time, effort, and wasted material since you don't have to cut a circle from a strip of tape. Corners come up easier, the more square they are the easier they will come up as there is less contact it with the surface. The wider the radius of the corner, the less it's going to come loose. Do that with a strip and you'll end up with small pieces that you can't use for anything. Obviously this isn't very good for long tears, you'd need to overlap many of them along the length of the tear.
