It is great looking and super compact on the belt, and will fit most standard cuffs, hinged and chain. (Smith and Wesson Models 100 and 300 and similar). The fit is nice and tight (can turn this upside down and give it a good shake while the case is open and the cuffs do not come out.) This fits up to a 2 inch duty belt, and works nicely on a regular belt. That said, the stitching could be better (however, the problem is easily solved with a coat of water repellent and a cigarette lighter to melt down the end threads.), and this does not have a soft foam core (the core is stiff like leather) so while this is good to wear in the front or the 4 o'clock / 8 o'clock positions, I would definitely recommend keeping this away from your back at all costs. Overall, this is a great economy buy for security professionals and corrections. I wouldn't recommend this for regular patrol work because its simply not going to hold up to extended exposure to the elements, without at least some silicone water repellent.
