The 3 modes are exactly the same pressure and its WAY too hard to use near your gums. My sister tried it out first saying it was too hard on soft mode. I tried it despite her warning and ended up with bleeding hurt gums. We did have some fun with it and tested the pressure out on a painter's palette that had dry, stubborn, 1 year old paint. The pressure was so hard, it actually "powerwashed" some of the paint off. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ More Convenient *by A***A on Reviewed in the United States on October 17, 2019* Before my husband bought this one for me, I had a very big one and it was not wireless. I currently have braces and when I took the other one out with me, it was not very convenient because I could not find outlets in the restaurants and stores. This one is easy for me to take out and it has different modes whereas the other one only has different speeds. Since I have more sensitive teeth, the soft mode on this is really useful.
