This type of nematode was recommended by Gardener's World magazine so giving it a try to discourage ants. The 50 came with a hose sprayer and this worked very well. Easy to understand instructions and easy to use, and yes the control knob is a little stiff to work so have patience. I like the spray pattern and coverage with each cup of nematode powder. Suggestions: read the company website before buying since there are times when NOT to spray the solution. #2, set up a visual grid pattern to make sure you get the correct coverage. Sprayed this during on lawn and veg bed during overcast day with expected rain for two days, but also followed the instructions for wetting the ground first with plain water then the solution. Counting on the rain to help the critters reach the soil.
