I bought the elastic and band set in my early second trimester and now I am 36 weeks and still haven't had to buy any maternity pants. I ordered a size small. Pre-pregnancy size 2, 120lbs and now at 36 weeks 150lbs. I could wear my regular size pants with the elastics up until my third trimester and then I just got a couple pairs of pants in a size up from a thrift store. Way cheaper than buying specialty maternity jeans. You might not be able to zip the zipper up, but that problem is easily hidden if you wear the belly band on top.The bamboo belly band is great. I hate the way maternity jeans fit; I haven’t found one flattering pair, and I’ve had experience, I’m pregnant with my third child. So when I found this, I was so excited. It works just as described. I’m a little unsure how comfortable the band will be once I hit my third trimester, but it’s super stretchy yet sturdy.
