Like the Bittermilk Old Fashioned mixer, it makes a professional mixologist grade drink. Although many people would use less expensive whiskey to make a sour, this mixer makes a very good whiskey even better - the mixer really compliments the subtle flavor of better whiskey. My only caveat is that the label calls for even parts whiskey and mixer, but a 2:1 whiskey to sour mixer ratio is probably more to most cocktail aficionado's taste.
