Product Description EasyFlex Pound-In Landscape Edging offers a simple edging solution for your garden or flower bed. The serrated tooth design easily pounds into the ground with a hammer or mallet, requiring minimal ground preparation. The straight edge border is made of flexible recycled plastic and is durable enough to withstand temperature changes. Use the recycled plastic edging with landscape fabric to keep flower beds clean. Quickly and easily install Pound-In Landscape Edging: clear and moisten the soil along the edge of the landscaping, pound the edging into the soil with a rubber mallet so that 1-2 inches of the edging is visible above ground, and stake the ends of the border. Particularly rocky soil may cause difficulties, in which case moistening the soil or using a spade to create a small trench in the soil may shift the rocks to make installation easier. The EasyFlex Pound-In Landscape Edging Kit contains (1) 20 ft. coil of edging and (2) anchoring stakes. Made of recycled materials in the USA. Safety Warning Be careful when installing on rocky floors. Use a spade to move stones and watch out for risk of injury from sharp stones or tools.

Review: Did The Job For Me - I wanted to keep the newly created straight edge on a flower bed - 5 metres long - so that the adjacent lawn doesn't spread and gradually merge into the flower bed. The soil is a mix of clay with top soil and not stoney. It was early September and the ground was wet, not sodden. I unrolled the whole 20 feet on the patio for a couple of hours to get the curve out of the Edging Strip and this was helpful. I looked at various different products online and decided that this plastic edging looked good. Neutral dark grey that defines the lawn edge but does not stand out. The various depths of jagged teeth looked practical for pushing into the ground so that any stones could be deflected. And at about 3 inches deep it could be set about level with the lawn so that the lawnmower could pass over the top of it and I would not need edging shears to keep the grass neat. I used a metal lump hammer to bang it in. I don't think the rubber mallet used in the product pictures would be sturdy enough. The Edging Strip stood up well to being hammered without distorting or bending over. Easy to cut with a pair of tin snips (metal-cutting shears) but a small hack saw would do it easily instead. For a 90 degree corner I did not try to bend it the Edging but cut it and did a short stretch. I had about 3 feet left over which I have used to mark a curved edge to another small flower bed.

**Q: What's the smallest circle that you can create with this edging? Can I make a circle about 10" in diameter?**
A: I believe what they are asking is, how tight can you bend this product, or how tight of a circle you can bend it before it breaks or creases. Sorry I don’t have that answer but maybe one of you have bought it and has some extra that can make a small circle and give them the answer now that the question is correctly understood.

**Q: How high above the ground line is this edging once in place?**
A: If you can keep it in the ground (I added extra stakes and it still keeps coming out of the ground).  I went down about 2" and it still keeps coming back up and with 2" in the ground, only 2.5" is above ground.  You can go to any depth you want but good luck keeping it in place.

**Q: What is the depth of the plastic?**
A: It's about 5 inches.  You could use an edger to make the groove before insertion so the little roots don't inhibit the "push".  They made it difficult for us at first.

**Q: Is the edging rigid or soft? Will pound into the ground easily or will it bend the “spikes”?**
A: Edging is rigid and will pound into the ground easily!

I wanted to keep the newly created straight edge on a flower bed - 5 metres long - so that the adjacent lawn doesn't spread and gradually merge into the flower bed. The soil is a mix of clay with top soil and not stoney. It was early September and the ground was wet, not sodden. I unrolled the whole 20 feet on the patio for a couple of hours to get the curve out of the Edging Strip and this was helpful. I looked at various different products online and decided that this plastic edging looked good. Neutral dark grey that defines the lawn edge but does not stand out. The various depths of jagged teeth looked practical for pushing into the ground so that any stones could be deflected. And at about 3 inches deep it could be set about level with the lawn so that the lawnmower could pass over the top of it and I would not need edging shears to keep the grass neat. Looks good I had to wet the ground to help when installing. For the price I would have like a couple of extra spikes. I laid it out flat in the sun to help flatten it

Did what I bought it for, easy to install. I did follow the instructions, by rolling it out in the sun, anchored both ends and left it for about ½ an hour to make it more pliable.
