Review: Almost perfect - Fantastic stand for around 100 bucks. The platform is ginormous, as well as the seat. The seat is extremely comfortable without having to buy a foam pad. Stand went together very quickly. I read other reviews about the seat support bar being difficult and near impossible to install. I don’t know if I received an upgraded design but that piece installed easily on all 3 stands I purchased. The only negative issue i have, and it’s kind of a major one for me is how Muddy designed this stand to be secured to a tree. Rather that welding 2 eye loops and including a 2” ratchet strap, they have lipped lugs welded on the inside seat post and included a buckle style strap with loops on each end of the strap that slip over the lipped lugs. This would be fine if the buckle was a Ratchet. In addition to the included buckle style strap, I also used 2 Ratchet straps for peace of mind.

His weight is about 230-240lbs and he hasn’t had any trouble with this product not holding him up. Safety is important and we give this product an A+. Fantastic stand for around 100 bucks. The platform is ginormous, as well as the seat. The seat is extremely comfortable without having to buy a foam pad. Stand went together very quickly. Works well, I got 3 of them. The first one I bought start to make noise lifting the sit after 2 years though. It is also relatively heavy although for the size it is ok.
