I also have crossed a small stream in them a few times and again still keeping me dry. They are very comfortable, easy to get on/off and relatively lightweight. For less than a third of the price of other Branded boots these are excellent value as in my experience they all seem to last for only about a year before wearing out or letting water in. I am usually a size 9 but a size 8 is a perfect fit, would recommend these boots highly and if they only last a year then I am still quids in on previous more expensive purchases. Review: Comfy, but not waterproof - I am a moorland and Tor walker. I walk in most weathers 2 or 3 times a week. I was looking for a lightweight, comfortable boot that was 100% waterproof and affordable. The reviews were very good and although not a brand I recognised I took a chance. The first couple of walks I was really pleased, a very comfortable boot, great fit and lightweight and seemed to be waterproof, however during an unexpected very heavy downpour I ended up with wet feet. The boots dried out really quickly and were ready to go the next day.
