I have to wash dishes by hand and often sponges fail from silverware and knives.Grocery store sponges have gotten expensive and they take up so much space, I couldn't believe the size of these when they arrived, I thought I received business card samples! I can store them in a kitchen drawer and they take up almost no room! Once run under water they pop up to regular sponge size. They last me as long as Scotts or any other brand, they actually don't fall apart as rapid either. I haven't noticed any weird odors or feel, in fact I used to have to microwave the store ones more often due to odor, with these I really haven't at all. They are very absorbent and hold soap/suds well, while being easy to rinse.Overall a superior sponge I would definitely recommend! Great value!! Does what a good sponge needs to do!
