Review: Nice Little Blower But CAUTION - As I tend to do, I've waited to write this review, otherwise I'd be commenting on the packaging or delivery, not product performance. That out of the way, this is a fine little blower. Well built, light and easy to handle, starts first time every time even after months of sitting in my unheated shed, moves my grass clippings and light leaf load out of the way with no problem. Highly recommended for those like me who don't need a huge honking blower. Two issues, one minor, one not. As for the small gripe, the air intakes on the sides of this unit tend to suck up against my trousers, so I have to remember to hold it out from my side a bit or two. It's so light, holding it away from your body is no problem, just an annoyance. I don't wear shorts so those of you who do might have a bit more problem with this but I doubt it. On the major side, I hate Husqvarna customer service. While I've had no problem with this unit, I have one of their chain saws that I dearly love. Works hard, starts perfectly, nicely made, really a good saw. However, my first one failed because someone at some factory forgot to ream a casting lip which broke off and lodged between the piston and the cylinder. Husqvarna customer service was totally worthless and I mean TOTALLY WORTHLESS. Good thing I bought the saw at Northern Tools because they made it good, no questions asked, as I'm sure desertcart would have as well. My point is this ... in my opinion, Husqvarna makes good stuff, just be sure to put a reputable retailer, one with some money in their pocket and/or some swag with the factory, between you and Husqvarna.
Review: Great Machine! - Pros: Ordered this for a great price on desertcart (better than Sears sale price + no tax). Shipped fast. Opened the box, took 5 minutes to read the user directions, put gas/oil in the tank and I haven't stopped since. Pulling electrical chords, it took me 25 minutes to clear the leaves off of a very steep and long driveway, now it takes 5 minutes flat. I can clear leaves off of the driveway, tree big decks, two porches, a patio, and about 150 feet of walkway in the time it used to take just to clear the driveway. TIP: Read the directions; it says to push the gas bulb 10x, turn the choke on full (easy to do), pull no more than three times, then put the choke in the middle and pull a few times. Once it starts (and it always does), let it run for 10 seconds then turn the choke to off. Sounds kind of complicated but it's really not and the blower runs fantastically! Also, like the big models, you can adjust the speed with the trigger. This is an awesome blower, very powerful; puts my electric workhorse to shame. Cons: Wear ear plugs.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does this model also serve as a vacuum?**
A: NO it DOES NOT. The door where the vacuum would normally attach is glued shut on this model. In addition, the impeller is different than the one that comes with the 125bvx and the mulching blade is missing as well. I ordered this model because a previous answer said it would work with the vacuum accessory. So what I did was use an exacto blade and cut thru the glue on the door latch. Then i ordered the door spring (its missing in this model too), as well as an impeller and blade from ebay. In total the 3 parts came to 12.89. If you're willing to do this versus purchasing the 125bvx the unit will vacuum perfectly.

**Q: We are going to have about an acre of land to blow. Is this unit big enough? I'm thinking about getting one for my husband.**
A: The short answer; yes, this will do the trick. I’ve used this exact model for 6 years on 1+ acre residential and commercial lots.
Regarding this versus backpack: Acreage is irrelevant. The question to be answered is, what is the volume of leaves, grass, straw, etc., to be moved? Once your pile(s) become a certain volume, no leaf blower is going to be effective. I also use large tarps. Blow the leaves onto those, then drag them to the property edge or wherever their final resting place will be.

**Q: What type of gas does this one use? Is it non-ethanol as well?**
A: There is no mention of ethanol in the manual. It uses regular gas, 87 octane minimum although higher is recommended. It is 2-cycle (2-stroke) with a common 50:1 mixture.

**Q: Has anyone had any issues with this blower?**
A: No issues. Starts good but has to warm up awhile at idle before using. blows leaves great. Light weight.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Starts right up and blows
*by D***T on December 26, 2019*

This is my first gas powered blower. I have had a few corded blowers and a couple of cordless ones. This fall the size of my lot and leaf load out did my larger corded blower. Besides, who wants to coil a 50' cord? The cordless blowers are fine for the deck, even when you live in the woods. But, the actual yard needed more ompf. I shopped around, read some reviews, compared publish specifications. This one looked good, so I put it in the wish list for next year. As fall turned to deep snow in much of the world, it went on sale and found its way to my door. The review based on two days with very wet and deep leaves: Pro: Starts right up. Use canned gas without ethanol. The choke control is different than my Stihl tools, but once looked at, is easy to figure out. After the first run, it starts on first pull. Pro: lifts an blows leaves. runs on high speed for a full tnk of gas and doesn't skip a beat Neutral: flat nozzle doesn't seem to accelerate the air as much as the cone nozzles on the electric blowers. I might have to make some modifications and let Mr. Bernoulli have a go. Con: leaves will block intake. Keep an eye on it and remove them Con: heavier than a small corded blower. My arm got tired before 10,000 sq-ft was clear. A back pack blower would be over kill, so this is more of a con for my weak office worker arm. BTW, operating it left handed works, just watcchout for the blower intake.
