Key for me was thin and flexible - I'd purchased a few other rulers and they were all thicker and mostly rigid. This ruler is perfect for my work. The graduations are fantastic for measuring to precise lengths and I've found the need to purchase another as I'm always wanting to use this in lieu of my other shop rulers. One item to note is that this ruler is only 1/2" wide - I personally like it being thinner but it is not your "standard" width. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Machinist's Ruler *by M***L on October 4, 2015* Excellent for machine work.
