It's made out of sinamay.There are 2 ways to wear it, as a hairband (like I did) or with a crocodile clip. The hairband is the perfect colour match. I've seen some fascinators with the headband being a slightly different shade, which looks terrible. Either have it a contrasting colour or an exact match. They got it perfect with this Fascinator. The head band is covered in a satin material and I was nervous that would cause it to slip but nope it stayed put for the whole day.There is also a crocodile clip and this is a largish sturdy clip, other fascinators I own have a very small and not very strong clip but this is perfectly placed and strong. I had intended on attaching it with the clip but I was running late so just used it with the hairband.Lastly when I've worn other fascinators, I've had to take them off the minute the photos or meal was over. This was so comfortable I almost forgot about it and only took it off going to bed that night. So I was basically wearing it for approximately 12 hours without discomfort.This is definitely a keeper. I generally send my fascinators into the charity shop or give them away, but not this one!If you're on the fence just go for it.
