I loved being able to lock the spray attachment when my young great grandson was visiting since he loves to use spray bottles like water guns. I used the previous 2 bottles for several years before each one broke apart. One broke at the top crease when it was knocked off my table, the other bottle developed large cracks around the top and radiating down the sides. The sprayers on both continued to work perfectly.
