Affordable way to hide outlets. *by H***8 on January 2, 2024* I painted my office a deep brown, and the outlets stood out terribly. I was going to have an electrician come and change out the outlets to black, but they still would have not matched. Painting the outlets is not a good idea, and they look terrible when they get scratched up. So, I'm so glad I found these! I sprayed these covers with a quick thin layer of black primer spray paint and then painted the covers to match my wall. Perfect way to change the color of the outlet without enlisting the help of an electrician. In the future, if I wallpaper or go a different direction and want to repaint, it will be super easy to repaint.
