It seems they like the sheer number of fish in this pot as they can all fish for them and sort them, find matches etc and there are plenty to go round. I had thought these would look really cheap next to the schleich ones but they don’t. I’ve pictured one of them next to a dark blue schleich fish to compare. They seem to be made of the same type of plastic, and are sturdy and quite weighty per fish. The crabs don’t feel like their legs and pincers are going to fall off. Highly recommend and I’ll be looking at getting more of the Battat “terra” pots line after seeing the quality of these

A: Hi there. The figures in this set are BPA free.

**Q: Are these hard plastic or are they pliable? I would like to see if I can bend them enough to get into a water bottle?**
A: Depends on the size of the mouth for your water bottle. If it’s a large mouthed bottle then maybe. They are a hard plastic, the crabs may be able to bend enough and the green fish maybe but not the rest.

**Q: Do these have holes that would allow water in if used in a pool or bathtub?**
A: No we bought them for the bathtub

This product really surprised me with its quality and value for money. My children (5, 3 and 2) have played with them for ages every night in the bath since they arrived last week. These tropical fish and crab toys are really fun to play with - my girls love them and they’re great for imaginative water or sand play. The only downside is the quality - some of the paint is a bit wonky or chipped. It doesn’t affect how they play with them, but worth knowing if you care about perfect finish.
