I would probably order a size down next time as it seems a little too wide in the shoulders. It is very roomy in the midsection and would probably work well for a maternity or post-partum top. I am tall and the sleeves were a decent length (slightly above my wrist). I really like the modal fabric (very soft), however it is not real heavy or warm. I guess it depends on what you desire. It worked fine for my holiday outfit since the rooms full of people were plenty warm. I wore an infinity scarf with it since the top is a little plain. This top would probably look good with a colorful longer/chunky necklace as well. I recommend wearing leggings or slim fitting pants with this since there's so much volume in the top. I wear a size large but sized up one to an XL for comfortable sleeping.I can tell you though that if I must run out for a quick errand in black lounge pants and this top, I simply throw on a 100% scarf and look pulled together.Wearing only modal for sleepwear, I can tell you that this top is one third (1/3) the cost of my former retailer. Ordered the dark heather short sleeve and plan to purchase the ivory too. Love the Royal Blue with black too.More colors please! Once I first got these shirts they were incredibly long. As in came to my knees and I'm 5'6" long...it was unflattering! Since I washed them they now come down just enough to cover my butt which is exactly what I wanted. I did keep it at a 4 star and not a 5 due to the fact that it's very see through. You can see the complete outline of my cami I wear under it. You definitely have to ware something under this shirt.
