I have a stainless steel sink and I typically don’t need to re-mount it for at least a few weeks. Eventually, some moisture gets behind the suction or something and it starts to slip off but overall it’s pretty easy to deal with and easy to set up. I have a heavy chain, mail, sponge and steel wall as well as my regular sponge. No problems staying up. Very strong suction. Great product.

**Q: Anyone else have trouble with it popping off the sink every couple minutes?**
A: Yes.  I have a new stainless steel sink. When I apply it, the suction is really strong - can't pull it off.  If I leave it for 10 minutes, it falls.

**Q: Will this stick to plastic utility sink?**
A: We are using it on a porcelain sink but I imagine it would stick to plastic as long as there is a flat surface for it to adhere to.

**Q: How well does it stick to porcelain sink?**
A: I did not try with a porcelain sink, but I can tell you that it not stick at all to my shower wall which is plastic, not ceramic.  I ended up throwing it out because the 30 day window for returns was up. Holds really well when you dry the surface ahead of time. I have a stainless steel sink and I typically don’t need to re-mount it for at least a few weeks. The oxo good grips organizer is great for my sponge and brush to keep in place and drain water from. It looks great on the inside of my sink. I has however fallen off a couple of times, but easy to remove and wipe clean and put back in place.
