The color mimics a minnow very well. The jointed designed gives it a unique swim that I think really catches the fish's attention. In clearer water, it's fun to watch the fish follow the lure before they strike. As I mentioned I was so happy with it that I bought a second one when I lost the first to a fish. I told my fiance I was going to catch that fish again and get my first lure back out of it's lip. So far I have had no luck with that endeavor, but I refuse to give up. LoL! I have caught many fish on this lure and plan to catch many more! (I keep a net in my kayak now for the bigger ones. ) This does have treble hooks small enough to catch larger brim and hook large mouth bass. Brim put up a fun fight, so I like to fish with this size hook where I can catch both species.
