The Kid Labsters Wicks Kit includes 100 cotton wicks – along with four centering devices – to complete the process. Each wick is crafted using high-quality cotton, pre-waxed to ensure easy lighting and burning with each use. One end of each wick is also tabbed with a sturdy, metal sustainer, holding the wick firmly in place at the bottom of the glassware when it starts to burn close to the end. To make the candle-making process effortless, the kit also includes wick-centering pieces. Constructed of metal, this sturdy device holds the candle wick in place to ensure it’s perfectly centered in your candle vessel. It also features three holes, allowing you to use a single wick or two wicks at the same time. Perfect for making votive, tealight and pillar candles with paraffin, soy wax, palm wax or beeswax – this kit will work well in most glassware. To get started, place a drop of hot glue on the sustainer to hold the wick in place on the bottom of the container.
