Review: Great looking -and playing- guitar - This is a great guitar. I already have the smaller bodied CC60SCE which I'm very happy with and I use it most days for practice, but I just wanted to treat myself to the dreadnought version for the slightly fuller sound. Out of the box I thought maybe it was a mistake as they felt so similar to pick up and hold, but it immediately sounded totally different, so I am really happy with it. It is beautifully made, except for one minor criticism (minor for me at least) - the plastic pickguard was not stuck on very well. In my case it didn't matter as I was hoping to remove it (I prefer the clean look of the wood and I don't need a pickguard, in fact I wish they came loose in the box as standard so the buyer can choose whether or not to stick it on). So happily for me, I was able to carefully peel it off very easily. But if you want it to stay on there, you might have been disappointed and would have had to press it down to make sure it was properly stuck on. Apart from the pickguard, the guitar looks stunning, it is beautifully made and has a great sound, and the setup is already very playable on arrival, though I may lower the action a tiny amount to make it easier to fret.

**Q: I like tye mahogany, and the easy to play nack. in 2019 ibought one like this, but returned it due many death freats. was this issue fixed?**
A: Issue not fixed. Had to take it to a guitar shop to fix.

A: The guitar has steel strings. Very nice guitar!

**Q: Do any adjustments need to be made to the action or is it well calibrated?**
A: No. It's calibrated. My son just tuned it using a mobile app. The sound is beautiful.

This is a great guitar. I already have the smaller bodied CC60SCE which I'm very happy with and I use it most days for practice, but I just wanted to treat myself to the dreadnought version for the slightly fuller sound. Out of the box I thought maybe it was a mistake as they felt so similar to pick up and hold, but it immediately sounded totally different, so I am really happy with it. It is beautifully made, except for one minor criticism (minor for me at least) - the plastic pickguard was not stuck on very well. In my case it didn't matter as I was hoping to remove it (I prefer the clean look of the wood and I don't need a pickguard, in fact I wish they came loose in the box as standard so the buyer can choose whether or not to stick it on). So happily for me, I was able to carefully peel it off very easily. But if you want it to stay on there, you might have been disappointed and would have had to press it down to make sure it was properly stuck on. Apart from the pickguard, the guitar looks stunning, it is beautifully made and has a great sound, and the setup is already very playable on arrival, though I may lower the action a tiny amount to make it easier to fret.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Lovely Guitar, Broken Pick-Up

I'm a home musician but more a keyboardist than a guitar player. I do have an electric, which I use in my music every now and then. I wanted an electro acoustic. I did look at some cheaper models that were around a £100 cheaper but as it was my 60th birthday (today actually), my wife said she'd buy me a decent guitar. I chose this as basically there wasn't a lot to choose from around the £250 mark. There were quite a few cheap guitars and then quite a few pricey guitars. This was a good compromise. Delivery was quick, but on delivery the guy from DPD dropped the box out of the back of his van. I wasn't happy! Waited a week until this morning and guess what? Yep, the pick-up wouldn't work. Contacted Amazon for a return, but they would only offer a full refund or a partial refund of 20% if I kept it. Decided to keep it. Got refunded £50 and I will buy a Fishman acoustic guitar mic, which will probably sound better anyway. So, putting aside that disappointment, let's talk about the guitar. It really is a beautiful guitar, the finish is superb and it feels lovely in the hand. It's a 41" and is a perfect size for me. The sound is lovely, really lovely. A beautiful chiming tone. I'm very pleased with it, just a little gutted that the pick-up was broken. Still, fair play to Amazon for the 20% refund. I won't let the broken pick-up put me off Fender. I'm sure it was the DPD guy what done it. One other thing to note. I got a promo code for 30 days of Fender Play for free. Code didn't work!
